Michigan Renaissance Festival is a time-travel adventure into the 16th century. This year, at the 31st annual Michigan Renaissance Festival, join our Queen Elizabeth in a jubilee! Inside our turreted gates, visitors enjoy the sights and sounds of a 17-acre village, complete with building reproductions of Renaissance shops and a magnificent castle. Continuous entertainment takes place on the streets, on 16 themed stages and fields; featuring full-contact armored jousting, comedy and theater shows, games, people-powered rides and so much more! Fabulous food and more than 195 artisans displaying their gallery-quality juried art complete the experience. For more information visit www.michrenfest.com.

Holly Dickens Festival has been delighting holiday revelers in Historic Downtown Holly for over 30 years. Join in the fun as Charles Dickens’ Merry Old England comes alive in the atmosphere of turn of the century buildings, welcoming shopkeepers, and skilled craftspeople. For more information visit www.dickensfestivalholly.org.

Carry Nation Festival is held every year in downtown Holly on the weekend after Labor Day. It is a celebration of the infamous visit Ms. Carry Nation made to Holly in 1908. She was brought here to save a starving community from the hells of demon rum and evil. For more information visit www.carrynation.org.
