What Is The DDA & What Do They Do?

The Holly DDA was created under the auspices of Michigan Public Act 198 of Public acts of 1975 to promote economic growth and development. The DDA is comprised of an active Board of Directors, as well as one full time Executive Director who lends a helping hand to prospective and current business owners located in the DDA District. The DDA follows the Main Street Approach to downtown revitalization and has several committees in place who work together to promote our shared goals.  The DDA is funded through a Tax Increment Financing Plan, developed in 2001.  Our mission is to preserve, beautify and unify our downtown, enhance the quality of life and enable an economically prosperous future.
