Crapo Park is located in the Historic District of the Village of Holly, Crapo Park is a two-acre park that includes mature trees and a band shell, hosting a variety of events throughout the summer and the Carry Nation Festival. Cyclone Park is located in the center of a neighborhood in the Village of Holly, Cyclone Park has ten acres of land that hosts softball leagues and a grassy area for field sports. Ganshaw Park is a highly visible park providing views on Bevins Lake in the Village of Holly. It is 2.5 acres in size and located on Saginaw Street. The shore area has been preserved as a wildlife/nature area attracting a wide variety of migratory and non-migratory birds and other wildlife. The park also provides opportunities for ice fishing. Facilities include: Gazebo with handicap ramp; Picnic area with picnic tables and grills; Small paved area (10 spaces) and water source and flagpole. Swimming can be done in the adjacent Township Park. Facilities include: Picnic shelter; Basketball court; Paved surface for skating park; Play structure and play equipment; Exercise trail; Paved pathways; Picnic area with picnic tables and grills; Restrooms; Water fountain; and Boat launch accessed from East Street and including a small gravel parking area. Morris Fein Property is a three-acre piece of land located on Broad Street provides access to Stiffs Mill Pond. It was originally an arboretum area including a number of indigenous and exotic tree species and accessed through a suspended bridge from Broad Street. Left in a natural state, the arboretum provides a forested setting that attracts wildlife and waterfowl and provides hiking opportunities. Waterworks Park is located on Broad Street on a 15-acre historic site located at the southern entrance to the Village. It was the site of the former Holly Milling Company and Village wells dating back to the mid 1850's. Various features such as historic telegraph poles can still be seen on the property. It includes the historic power station building and access to the Shiawassee River. Facilities include: A newly built bridge; A canoe/kayak launch; Small gravel parking area; Picnic tables and grills; and Two portable toilets. Holly Township Beach is seasonally for swimming and Red Cross certified lifeguards are on duty during all open times. Besides the beach, the park offers play areas with a swing set and a playscape for toddlers, shuffleboard courts and a volleyball court. There is also a concession stand which sells drinks and snacks throughout the summer season. A picnic area with barbecue grills is available on a first come basis. Sorensen Park is located at 5142 East Holly Rd., is a 93 acre park which offers 2 softball fields, a playground, a 5k trail system, a nature center, and the Holly Township Parks and Recreation office. Groveland Oaks County Park is a 360 acre park owned and maintained by Oakland County. It is home to the largest children’s playscape in the Oakland County Parks system and also offers swimming, picnicking, and family camping. Headwater Trails, Inc. is a non-profit group (501 c3) dedicated to the construction of a trail network in NW Oakland County's Headwaters region. They are currently in the planning stages of trail development. The trails span several municipalities, including the townships of Groveland, Holly, Rose, and Springfield, and the Village of Holly. Headwaters Trails Inc. operates with the support of a variety of public, private and business sources interested in promoting local trails and recreational activities. The Headwater Trails group hosts numerous events throughout the year on the Shiawassee River including a race and pleasure paddle from Holly to Fenton, a fall color tour, and several river clean up days.
